The Boise State Bookstore serves the students, staff and community as the retailer, fostering academic success, university allegiance and providing scholarships. As a University department, all proceeds are returned to the University. Your purchases really do fund scholarships!

Donations

The Boise State Bookstore has established a limited budget for donations.

Boise State University Bookstore will consider donating retail items to clubs or organizations that are a direct part of the campus community. This would include student, staff and faculty clubs/organizations that are involved in not-for-profit activities that enhance the academic excellence, vibrant culture while creating an opportunity for public engagement and showcasing exceptional research at Boise State University. An organization receiving academic credit for the event/project is not eligible for donations from the Boise State Bookstore. See example:

Student government officers want to have a drawing for a sweatshirt at their event to increase student involvement. The club is a recognized organization on campus and the donation benefits only the club. No academic credit is given for this event.

Boise State University Bookstore will also consider extending a discount to other not-for-profit organizations (or for profit businesses working with a not-for-profit organization) that do not meet all of the above criteria. The discount will be 25% off of regular priced insignia merchandise, art supplies, general office supplies and general books. (Textbooks, electronics and software are not eligible for this discount). A local hospital auxiliary unit is involved in a fundraising project and requests a Bronco hat for a donation. A local for-profit radio station is working with a not-for profit neighborhood watch program and is requesting a donation of a sweatshirt.

These organizations are not a direct part of campus, therefore a discount might be offered.

Complete the Donation Request Form (Acrobat Reader 7.0 or higher required), indicating the name of the organization/group, what the activity is, the reason for your request, and how you will acknowledge Boise State Bookstore's donation. All donation requests must be received 5 business days before donation is needed. Boise State Bookstore will not donate to any individual or group organization that does not meet the above requirements.
